Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Gents, As mentioned in another post, my brother is about to purchase a 996. Although it is most likely going to be a C2, he was offered an attractive deal on a GT3 look C4. Does anyone have any real world driving experiences of both cars? Are there any tangible differences between them? Many thanks in advance.

POST 2Original post

Yes, there are subtle but discernable differences. If you are seriously considering one or the other head out to a dealer and take a few test drives.

POST 3Original post

There is also a good thread about the differences. I think it's called C2 vs. C4.

POST 5Original post

A friend let me borrow his C4 for a week. Then when I test drove a C2 I knew instantly it was what I wanted. But obviously, it's totally a matter of personal taste, like chocolate or vanilla. Bill

POST 6Original post

I think its more like Angelina Jolie and Kate Bekinsale kind of a difference?
