Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I am looking to trade in my 01 c4 coupe for a cab got a price for a 02 lapis c4 cab leftover (80 miles on it). Dealer says my car plus 13k gives me the 02 (02 c4 has leather interior cd changer, 18" twists, heated seats, hard top pretty loaded!) Does this sound like a good deal?

POST 2Original post

As I'm English I can't really comment on specifics but the cab is a facelift model right? A leftover 02 should really have a $15 to $20k discount on it.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Correct the 02 is 3.6l new style front list price 89k it works out to be about a 20K+ discount

POST 5Original post

Lenny, I don't think it's the greatest deal moneywise, but considering you're getting the latest and last 996 styling, the larger engine, and it's still a C4. I would go for it if it's a Cab you want. I mean the car is a year old, but it's still a new car. I assume you will get your full warranty. Wite him a check for $11,500 and see if he'll go for it Don't forget to take whatever you can off your current car like alum pedals etc.etc. Good luck!

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanx all The dealer assures me the warranty starts the day of purchase. Always wanted a cab and love the all wheel drive! Think I'm going for it! Maybe I can squeeze them down a little more! Thanx again

POST 7Original post

Lenny, Please let us know what kind of deal you end up working with your dealer. Inquiring minds need to know!

POST 9Original post

lenny, you in the states? there is a "customer appreciation" rebate of somewhere between $3 to $5k on this deal right now. "The dealer assures me the warranty starts the day of purchase." your dealer is telling you the truth.

POST 10 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Well got my Lapis blue 02 c4 cab. Car has 1200 miles on it! It came with a cd changer, black leather interior, power seats, hardtop, wind deflector, 18" twists and tinted windows to boot! Traded my 01 C4 coupe & 12k cash. The car is really beautiful!! Love it! The dealer flatbed it to my house and took away my coupe. I have to say I feel the difference between the 3.4 and 3.6 litter engines. Thanks to everyone for the advice

POST 11Original post

Sounds like a nice car. I thought it had 80 miles?
