Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.

Suggestion

I'll check under the trunk lid but I think there are just a couple of places the reflective strip attaches, I've thought about taking it off and fashioning "PORSCHE" on it from behind somehow like the older cars...

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

My friend is picking up a C4S and wants to put a rear spoiler on it. He likes the GT2 wing but doesn't want to get rid of the reflector. Are there any spoilers out there that keep the reflector? Thanks

POST 2Original post

For 2004, you can now order the c4s aerokit, which has basically the turbo aerokit rear wing but keeps the reflector. My dilemma is this...I have a customer who very much wants a x51 c4s cab, but can't stand the reflector. He really hates it, god knows why. Is it possible to simply remove the reflector and paint that section? Thanks

POST 3Original post

Alfie, If you friend wants the aero-kit, shouldn't that mean he can swap out the the deck for a turbo deck? If he doesn't shouldn't he be able to swap it out for a std deck?

POST 4Original post

My customer does not want the aerokit, nor the reflector. The standard decklid from a c2 cab does not fit, according to my measurements. If you know otherwise, that would be great.

POST 5Original post

x51 c4s cab - must be roughly 120k ? Why not just get a TT cab at this point?

POST 6Original post

He is opposed to rear spoilers and the side air intakes. He is an eccentric gentleman, wants what he wants, twice a year....

POST 7Original post

Alfie, What color car is it? You can simply remove the reflector and do some touch up work if you want to. If he orders the car with the aerokit rear wing and reflector I'd be happy to trade my stock base C4S rear decklid for it and I'll even rip off the reflector before sending if you want.

POST 8Original post

The car will be Meridian (how can this now be a special paint), and there is no aerokit option for the 4s cab, only the coupe. Are you certain that the reflector can simply be pulled off? Thanks

POST 9Original post

Oops sorry I just noticed that your eccentric gentlemen wants the cab not the coupe, also not my color. I'll check under the trunk lid but I think there are just a couple of places the reflective strip attaches, I've thought about taking it off and fashioning "PORSCHE" on it from behind somehow like the older cars... just haven't gotten around to it...
