Suggestion
With the stock shocks the handling won't really change very much except to decrease the body roll.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Just had the H&R springs installed ($400 with alignment). Don't track the car but what a handling difference! The drop was a little over an inch and it feels so much tighter when pulling lateral G's.
Is is there a significant advantage in upgrading the sway bars?
Frank - What, no pics??? You know, before and after! Who did your install? Sorry, I can't answer your sway bar question, I don't have any experience with swapping them.
careful there frank. you could be flamed severely on this forum for just doing springs. apparently on this site it's like showing the bottom of your foot to an arab. anyway, way to go. i did cargraphic springs about a year ago. i love em. great on the street with a nice drop. i've heard good things about the hr product too.
I'm getting a neck-ach from looking at the avatars....good going on the springs only....if anyone gives you B.S. just tell buy to go buy you a set of PSS9 fro x-mas.
I can tell you this much. I did the springs. That is a great mod. I also went back and forth with the GT-3 sways. From my experience at Homestead, there wasn't much difference when the bars were in their middle position. The real advantage with adjustable sway bars is their adjustability. If you are a serious tracker and are willing to get under the car to have specific setups for the different tracks/conditions then get them. Otherwise, pass. There are plenty of other mods to do first.
see my post about a week ago... i was not happy with the drop initialy but it seems to have settled more. i am not sure if it is because i filled with gas since. will measure this week-end....
Those are good prices. when i shopped 1 month ago there was NONE available. even spoke to h&r usa and they were backordered as well. (2-3 months)
hope this helps...
I may be wanting to remove the H&Rs from my cab if someone wants to discuss options. I need to get some OEMs also at least for the rear. My wife doesnt like the stiffness and this one is primarily her ride.
Would it be worthwhile to try a set of H&R springs on my 2002 C2 which has the US M030 sport suspension? I would like to lower the ride height from the US spec to see if it will help my handling. Has anyone else done this? If so, what were the improvements?
Thanks,
Tom L
if you guys can keep me posted on the spring install that would be great as i a looking to do the same thing.....but dont just want lowered car, need good handling without the bounce and some proper recovery from dips and pot holes or man holes....i dont track at all....but still am considering the pss9 only is for street it is perfect, dont like the floaty feeling in the front end.....thanks Ted

thanks again. Ted
It'll decrease the body roll in the corners, but you need to put in a set of Bilstien HD shocks too if you really want to make your handling better. With the stock shocks the handling won't really change very much except to decrease the body roll.
