Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Tonight I had some time to get some of the interior mods that have been sitting on the shelf for over a month. I am also expecting a special package from Bumperplugs.com tomorrow so I wanted to get a head start.
Here is what I accomplished tonight:
- Removed GT3 seat, Removed Rear Center Console.
- Installed New E-brake
- Installed SSK
- Installed GT3 Console Delete
- Installed RUF Pedals (RUF Branded)
- Installed Turbo Gear **** (I am Taking Turbo Script plate off, I will fill it and have it painted Speed Yellow)
Cost: My total Ebay cost on the items above before shipping was Just under $550!!! The greatest score was the E-brake for $30. I am an ebay Junkie!
Installation time: 2.5 Hours Skill level 2/5 (Easy DIY Projects)
This weekend I will be installing Bumperplugs, Door Plug, Center Console in SY, and Rear Bumperettes in SY. All Courtesy of Eric Sklut at Bumperplugs.com I will post before and after shots however here are a few early release images for the picture junkies on the board.
Then I have a bunch of other great things in store... Suspension will be coming up before the spring. Also check out my new Costco Aluminum Jack much nicer then the HF Jack.
Nice! Looks like I'm on a similar path with my SYC2. Sorry, the only pictures I have so far are the ones from the dealer's ad; I only picked it up a couple of weeks ago.
First on the list: Muffler bypass this weekend!
Thank you, thank you!! I took a year and a half long break from the Porsche world with my two M3s (I picked up a '90 E30 and then an '02 E46, then enjoyed it and sold my 928S4 and 914) but I needed to come back into my world!
What I would really love to do is do the Aerokit 1 with the Aerokit 2/GT3 wing on the back, and the GT3 splitter like LVDell has.
This car is truly great, with three expections:
1. This car has a CASSETTE PLAYER!!!! Who would order this car and check the box for Speed Yellow seatbelts but NOT check the box for a CD Player?! I own ONE cassette, and that is my wife's karaoke version of Black Velvet from Six Flags.
2. No litronics.
The two things I miss the most from my M3 are the xenons and the auto-dimming mirror.
3. It is much, MUCH too quiet. Well I am certainly taking care of that one this weekend!
Xenon's easy mod. Auto Dimming Mirror another easy Mod. You won't be quiet anylonger after the Muffler bypass... Not a mod for the faint of heart.
Here are some pics of my 01' with MKI skirts & bumper, MKII GT3 Wing this car I should have never sold.
Wow!! That silver car is gorgeous! Which rims are on that car?
A friend of mine has some factory GT3 rims with the centers painted black. I think they'll look incredible on the yellow car. I just can't tell from the picture what those are.
I was also thinking about putting a black "911" on the back under the wing.
I know they sell the chrome ones, but I just don't see any black ones. I presume they exist but I haven't put a minute worth of effort into finding them yet. That is small potatoes.
Black 18" TechArt's... That car was sick, not a single scratch anywhere
. I plan on Powder coating my GT3MKI Centers this winter along with powdercoating the calipers Red. Black wheels do look good with the SY color.
I was planning on moving to Denver (which I did) I got top dollar for it so it was good timing. I still miss that car though. My plan was to replace it after I settled in here (which I did). We wanted to get an old home (which we did 1929 Tudor) So I was not sure what to expect as far as storage for 9-12 months if we do renovations. I knew I wanted a special garage and that would take time and an empty space. It was sweet.
LOL yeah sometimes those deals come up on ebay... You can get some really crappy deals too if you don't know what the item goes for retail. Ebay can be great for the smart consumer. I just wait what I want eventually comes along so you have to have patience.
