I wanted a way to instal my iPod in my car and this seemed the best fitting for my 2002. It was well worth it! I wish it came with some better instructions, but still the instal was really simple. Audio quality is pretty good. WAY better than those stupid FM transmitter. My one complaint is that when my phone is charging my radio reception starts to fail hard. Definitely a worthwhile mod

Reception might just be due to the way the iPhone sends and receives cell info when plugged in. But yeah In general radio reception is pretty bad

What is the advantage of the Becker over the Dension? Just asking because the is the first I have heard of the Becker.

Don't know about the Dension, but the Becker cable is a single cable that plays and charges the device. Most other cables won't charge 4g devices because they use a different voltage than previous models. This cable has a small black box in-line that allows use of all types of iPods/iPhones. A bit pricey ($110 IIRC), but well worth it as far as I'm concerned because of quality of the sound and the plug&play installation.

What did you guys do to hide the cable when it's not in use? I hate having cables flop around when I don't have the iPod plugged in.

Fernando, I hide mine in the rear center console storage compartment in one car and one of the lower console cubbies in the other car.

Here's my set-up. I bought the iPod strictly for the car, so I put some velcro squares on the back. I may get around to building something to hide the plug.
