Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I just picked up last night, beautiful Glacier White with gray full leather interior, nice list options and low 48K miles. The car rides as good as the '99 I bought new and have missed ever since I sold it in 2001. I'm really happy about having this car. Enjoy the pics, these were on Auto Trader.
I'll be the first to say ewwww aghhhhh nice car.
I prefer light colors with the sun. You must be really happy getting that car. Best of cruising to you over there.
Love the white exterior, glad you are once again a 99 owner. I found mine on Autotrader as well...over 3 years ago, almost the same mileage now with 50k miles. Thanks for the pics.
Welcome back, nice find. Car looks real nice and with a few tasteful mods, you are really going to enjoy the Pcar the second time around.
Definitely an amber "replacement", painted bumperettes, updated exhaust, and a new wheel / tire combo..
The white is my favorite exterior color. It looks very clean. Can you remind how much you paid for it ?
PS: sorry for my ignorance, what is an 'Amberectomy'
Rob, Welcome to Rennlist and Congrats on the white 996! Thanks for the pics!
I just live it when some of the Newbies "get it" about posting pics right away!
I do, however, miss yelling at them a little!
it seems that the amber turn signals (sides of front fender, front headlight area and the rear tailight portion ) all seem too "non-euro" for the Pcar; which when the amberectomy is actually performed, does give the car a better look, IMO.
Watch out, Ed's favorite modification as been the famed "996-to-aircooled'86-911 mod".
Haa! JK Ed.
Congrats azrob226, car looks sharp! Welcome to the list.
The wheels are stock 17" chromed with colored crests. This isn't my first Rodeo, I was on this list 11 years ago and for the past year while I was restoring the SC I sold last Monday. I'm a purist, my 996 has a very early production date, February 1998. If my memory serves me correct, when I bought the Guards Red 996 in 1999 I saw another one there that had amber/red tail lights and mine had clear/red tail lights. The guy who sold me the car explained that the first 996's off the line had the orange/red tail lights. My vin ends with 0746.
I'm leaving everything bone stock, the car looks like it is brand new. I am the 2nd owner, I have every receipt and the window sticker for the car. Somewhere along the way he must have had the stock wheels chromed, nice touch, I like it. Other than the TomTom iPhone mount and the radar detector the only other thing I'm doing is this

so I can play my iPod through the factory system.
I love the way it looks without the windows tinted but I'm not sure I'll be able to handle it in AZ, I'll hold out until we hit 100 in about two weeks and rethink it.
well said; the tints that I am also debating due to the south Florida summers are the Ceramic tints...a dark silver kind of film ...IIRC the company was German..."Huper Optic "???
