I hate to burst everyones bubble, but I sold my first set for $1200 with decent tires

Sold the same set for around 550 a few months back.

no buyers yet, There was a set cross ebay last week for $475 that sold...I think if you are willing to ship them (and know how w/o causing damage) you will be closer to the high end........

I'm selling a set of 996 twist wheels off a 1999 Carrera C2

They are in excellent but normal condition for a 10 year old set.
I can only find 1 scratch on an external surface.
What do you think I should be asking for them?

LOVE the 18" Twists! If you clean them up with a good polishing compound, get all the gunk off the inside of the rims, and wax them, then take good photos, you should do well.
OK, but what does a set of decent tires cost?
If someone has a set of these relatively cheap, or even just one front and one rear rim, I might be interested.

OK as promised to a number of people who asked via IM to see pics here you go... these will be on ebay shortly and I'll post link here also.
Wheels were on car for 1 month after I bought it prior to me buying aftermarket wheels. They are straight and true. Tires not included. I have the heavy duty padded boxes from my other wheels so shipping safely will not be a problem.
No curb rash. There are only 2 wheels with any external flaw. A "chip" to the clear coat in both cases. See pic descriptions inline...

And here is the only other "damage".
Looks somebody had a problem with a mounting machine or car wash guide rail? The inner edge of one wheel has been roughly "machined" by whatever caused this. It does not affect the bead seat nor is it noticeable once mounted to the car.
