I checked my oil before we left Maine and topped off with 8 oz.

Left for home at 10:30 today, 88 degrees F, as high as 104 degrees C, accumulated 343 miles round trip used a full tank of fuel and was 2 bars low on my electronic gauge and about another 6 oz of oil to top off again.

Ran at a constant 79-82 mph(according to the speedo which is 4-5 mph too high), saw few police, used my radar, and only had one brush on 84 with an unmarked Conn.

was 83 degrees F so we decided (she did) to close the sunroof and windows and run the AC instead, I monitered my coolant temp.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Thurs. late am my wife and I headed to West Hartford in my Porsche. Ambient temp. was 83 degrees F so we decided (she did) to close the sunroof and windows and run the AC instead, I monitered my coolant temp. via my center console(something Ed taught me) which never read higher than 98 degrees C, and on the highways was running in the mid 90s. I checked my oil before we left Maine and topped off with 8 oz. of Mobil 1, coolant(cold) in tank was up to full mark, so we were ready to go. Ran at a constant 79-82 mph(according to the speedo which is 4-5 mph too high), saw few police, used my radar, and only had one brush on 84 with an unmarked Conn. cruiser, but he paid little attention to me.

Traffic sucked on 495 in Ma. but my 12 year old Porsche had no issues at all and was a blast to be in. Just wanted to share.
Now we're waiting for the tide to come in and headed out on the boat.
that's awesome....my wife and i do the reverse trip...from CT to ME...every year, and it is one of my favorite trips (for both the car and being in Maine).
we go up every october...used to go to Camden/Rockport, but my wife prefers a slightly shorter trip for the weekend, so we have been hanging out in ogunquit for the last few years...
Actually no pics...we went to Conn. because my wife's father took a bad fall at age 98 and ended up in the hospitals ICU, so it wasn't quite a fun/pleasure trip. Don't mean to bring this post down.
I hope he is recovering... my Mother-in-law busted her coller bone a couple weeks ago falling out of bed (age ~87)
falling seems to be one of the biggest pitfalls of getting older...
