Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Depends on the options and service history but I'm guessing it's probably worth about $27-31kish from a private seller...maybe $32-34K from a dealer/broker if it's well optioned and has the hard top. I wouldn't worry about an extra $1k or so if its the 'right' car and ticks all of the right boxes for you.

If the car is clean $30K would be a great price. We have a private seller in Milwaukee with 25,500 miles asking $33,500 -

I am in the market as well and looked around mainly thru cars.com & craigslist...around east coast/mid atlantic region. I locked in on a 03 C2 Cab with hard top, PSM, aero kit, 69k miles and seller asking for $28k firm. Current owner is the 2nd and have kept the cab in great shape. From what i read above, that seems like a really high price then. Any suggestions?
I searched for a half year before I found the 02/C2/Cab I wanted -- and the prices were all over the map. The year/mileage are value
indicators
, but there are many more factors driving the price.
Everything from condition of tires, whether or not the car has a new top, has/has not been in an accident, interior condition etc... can swing the price thousands dollars either way.
Of any car I've owned, the 996 took the most research to buy.
An 03 cab with hard top and aero kit? Even at 69K miles that sounds like a great price for a car that has been driven and used.
I wouldn't touch any of these 02s and 03s with 15K miles on them. Ultra low mileage on these cars that are 7-8 years old are bad news.
Thanks Jim and Zurichgnome for sharing your ideas....at this stage...i guess I am just like some other potential buyers, feeling a bit insecure about pricing. I believe that in buying cars like this, half is really about buying the current owner/driver. That's why I mainly look thru private owner selling.
I test drove the car yesterday and car is very nice, in tiptop shape, exterior/interior. I was all excited and reaady to commit and start the PPI process till I read above post about cars with less than half of the mileage going for few thousand dollars more....
