Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

1 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

My 9 year old daughter likes to play with the power reclining seat, even after I have told her to stop! This time she went too far and now it won't go back up. Even using the manual seat lift it only goes a few inches, but won't stay there. Is it just off track, or is the motor dead? It seems that it still works going backward, but not forward. (of course, trying it a few times has put the seat into an extreme reclined state and now there is no more room.) I thought about having somebody pull up on it while I held the button to see if I could get it to "catch", but I don't even know if it works that way. Thoughts? Please? I'm looking pretty silly driving down the road with one seat! Thanks.
