I hit a piece of angle iron coming across the Hood Canal Bridge- not fun to say the least. These tires are discontinued, and while Tire Rack has them, I need one so I can have my car for my Buddy's wedding this weekend in the San Juans. Taking the Toyota is just not the same as the Cab! Since I am the best man, there are a lot of shuttling duties to perform. Incidentally, all three other tires have 75% left... Any leads would be appreciated. TIA Best, Tom

I'm in the process of trying to get mine replaced under warranty, so I wouldn't be able to help you in time. Read my post on Cross Country Road Trip, and you will see why you might think about replacing the set, or at least not going back with Sumitomo the next time. My lesson was learned the hard way. Good luck, if I get the new tire in before the weekend I'll hit you up see if I can help.

Call Byron at Truline in Bellevue or his brother in Seattle... they might have a couple take off's to get you thru the next couple months till you can replace them with new - just a thought

Thanks all for the suggestions. Ed, I will give Byron a call- I hadn't thought of him. I can't believe that it's been 22 years since I met him and he did the alignment on my 930S clone. Many cars and alignments later... Best, Tom
