It "claims" there are no CDs in about 4 of the filled slots, but works fine with the remaining two.

For some reason, my remote 6-CD changer has become eratic. It "claims" there are no CDs in about 4 of the filled slots, but works fine with the remaining two. I had the same problem with burned CD's. I started using a different program to burn them. The program I use now also puts artist and song title on each track. It seems to work much better at finding the disc. I forget the name of the program but it is NOT Windows Media. That is the one that would not work.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
