Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

9 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

anyone have a side profile shot of a silver 996 with aerokit 1 on it? i need to make some wheel photochops with it. thanks in advance.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

close enuff...its not dead sideways, but it should work.

POST 5Original post

Here's one that's more 'dead center'... FYI... that's my garage (not my house) in the background.

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

^ perfect. many thanks pobox. the 997 wheels look really good on the car, do you mind if i ask what one might expect to pay for a 2nd hand set and what sizes/offsets to look for?

POST 7Original post

I believe I paid $1400 for the wheels only. I bought them new off eBay and it came with the colored center caps. From what I've seen, that's probably the going rate for the OEM wheels. I still see a few new OEM 997 tire/wheel packages on eBay for $2000-2600. Fronts are 19x8 w/57 offset (I'm using 17mm spacers) Rears are 19x11 w/67 offset

POST 8 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

aw man...i was really hoping they were 18's cause they look so nice. i'm on 19's right now and the ride comfort is...well....not great. back to 18's for me i think..the PSS9's + 19s are a bit much. then again....do you know how much the wheels weigh?

POST 9Original post

Sorry, not sure. If I had to guess, I would say btw 26-32 lbs. Maybe someone else on this board knows. I didn't find the 19's to me much more uncomfortable over the 18's. However, if I were to ever track my car, I'd put the 18's back on.
