Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

8 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

Anybody know of a good Bluetooth device that dosen't show (looks factory) for a 2002 996? The dealership says there is not an aftermarket kit from the factory.

OK, I think I get this... I drive a 2002 996, Arctic Silver over black leather. Bone stock 6-speed. I bought it about a year ago... my first Porsche. member of PCA, auto-X every time I can. No DE's yet, but planning on my first drive on Road Atlanta this fall. Didn't know I had to give my life's story for a brief question. Hope this is better for all of you out there. Now... anybody have an answer? And look... I even added an emoticon for your pleasure!

There is a phone prep cable behind the center console storage cubby. You can use it with a variety of bluetooth kits. I've used the motorola hf 1000 for years and it works great: mutes the radio, and speaks out the callers number: http://www.renntech.org/forums/index...__mod_id__2156

I also use a Motorola gizmo that clips onto my visor and syncs into the Becker CDR220. Good reply eb!

POST 7Original post

This is what I use. Doesn't look OE, exactly, but it's very unobtrusive and works really well. Sucks all the contact data from your phone, so you get voice dialing and audible caller ID if you want it. Great price, too. http://www.parrot.com/parrot-minikit-slim/3d-demo/
