These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hello, I just realized my signal indicator on the dashboard was blinking at the twice of the normal rate and found that my front right signal light does not blink. It sounds like a noraml blown bulb story. Well, the problem is, when I tested the signal bulb with my multimeter, it was working fine. I don't know what else to look for to find the cause. The only thing I can think of the connector pins from the housing to the female socket is not working properly but I have no clue which pin maps to the signal light. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

POST 3Original post

I recently had the same problem and it just turned out that the bulb was not staying in the socket and was being jarred loose when driving. You really have to press and turn the bulb in the socket to make sure its locked in place.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

thanks all. i figured this out finally. After testing individual connections and the harness I was convinced that the connection was not sitting in right. I removed the black platform where the headlamp assembly sits on and reinstalled the female harness. This thing is secured by a plastic clip and the clip was lose thus creating a bit of play in the harness itself. I put everything back together and it all works great.
