Suggestion

If you can't find one I may have a 1/4-20 12pt in chrome that you can run a metric die over so it will fill the hole.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I lost one of the bolts off my Kinesis K18 wheel. It is 6mm in diameter, with a 8mm chrome head. The head has a 12 point star pattern on the outside and a standard 8mm socket will fit it. Lexani/Kinesis does not carry it. I Emailed Thatcher and I am waiting for a response. Does anybody have one or a few that they would like to sell? Thanks for any help. Attached are two pictures of my wheel and another wheel, with a better view of the fastener.

POST 2Original post

should be a torx head , try ebay or Globe Tire & Motorsports. But the mfg would be the place to get them

POST 3Original post

Mark, try calling Fast Forward Wheels in Monterey Park (SoCal). http://www.fastforwardwheels.com/

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

okbarnett, thanks. Arnee, that looks perfect. I will call them tomorrow. Thanks!

POST 5Original post

If you can't find one I may have a 1/4-20 12pt in chrome that you can run a metric die over so it will fill the hole. I wouldn't bring it up to full torque but it will look good and you probably cant tell it from a 6mm. Let me know.

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks for the nice offer Nick. It appears that I located the original bolts.
