Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

for those of you who know about tires, I purchase this set rear tires from ebay with 50% thread left as claimed in the auction, since I don't really want to spend $900 on a set of new yet, I'm gonna put those on for now, how long do you think that will last?

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

How long before they go? Well, that depends on your driving style. My Pirelli P-Zero Rosso Assimetricos are usually good for about a year or 12,000 miles. They could go longer but once you get enough wear on them they get really noisy.
Tire wear is subjective, depending on how the car is driven. It's about 50% left and I got about 15k on a new set. So, roughly about 7k mi in my driving style. YMMV.
I sold a set in similar condition for $70. Tires in this condition can often be found at dealer lots for free actually. Hope these aren't plugged or patched.
you know you bought only 2 tires?? An new tire goes for about 300 ea...with 100% tread....which is only 600 bucks installed and ballanced...now you still have to pay for all that.
He got 2 rear tires with about 50% thread left for a

price of $165 -- about half the price of a new Pirelli P-Zero Rosso 285/30-18 (around $320 on Tire Rack). It's not a bad deal to last him a few thousand miles until he is ready to buy a new set of 4.
I think it is risky to buy used tires.....especially since it is the only contact between the car and the road.
is the 320 on tire track including install and ballance?? if so now he has to find a shop that will do this for him....about 45 bucks per tire...90 plus 165. plus s&h for shipping the tire....is about 300 bucks altogether.....
Okay so you save a tire, but in about 4-5000 miles you got to do it all over again...
by the way programmatore...like your image...with the reflective floor...nice photoshop job??!!
Those eBay tires look like they are less than 50%, more like 30%, 35% at the most. FYI I just purchased 2 brand new ones at a local Discount Tires shop, yeah it's more expensive, but worry-free, paid almost $800 for 2 rear Rosso 285/30/18, with tax and balancing, etc.
Come on guys, give the original poster a break. He has his reasons for not wanting to buy a new set of tires at this time. All he was asking was how long you think the used tires he bought would last.
I just hope they would last couple thousand miles until the front ones wear out so I can buy the entire set. I don't drive rough at all. No hard launch or anything like that, just my daily driver
