looking to buy used...what are the big diferences between these three years ?

looking to buy used...what are the big diferences between these three years ?
looking to spend around $60k (trading in my 2002 box s)
i want to make sure there is noticeable performance difference from my boxster

The one thing I can think of offhand that might be important is the change to the MOST system for the radio/nav system. Less aftermarket (none?) choices for those systems. On the plus side, the Nav is improved starting 2003.
I can tell you there is a HUGE Noticeable performance difference from the Boxster S to the 911 Cab. I test drove them both back to back. You will not be disappointed in moving up from the Boxter to the 911.

Biggest difference between MY 2002 and '03 and '04 = $$$ and potential remaining warranty coverage. You're in Florida, so you may want to consider two wheel drive - you'll save money and the 2wd car feels a bit more nimble. I never wish that I had 4wd and from what I've read and researched, you won't miss it unless you're going to be driving in snow or exploring the edge of the car's handling limits. Even if you do push the limits, you can find here that many people like driving the C2 on the edge over the C4 (I may get blasted by some C4 owners for saying this, so...yes, I realize the car has amazing grip and acceleration, especially through turns with all four wheels working for you).
03+ has MOST, slightly better NAV (still cd based)
04 has tops that can be operated on the go (this can also be done aftermarket)
Does anyone know if 03's top can be operated on the go?
If you don't live in snow/wet weather, you don't need 4wd. It's extra weight, lower mileage. However, the C4S remains as my fav watercooled 911.
