I'm using 18x10.5 with et60 and it fits great.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hey I was wondering if stock rear rim size is 18x10, would an 18x11 fit? There's a nice set of Turbo Twist II rims on Craig's near me. The tires mounted are the same size as my stock tires.

POST 2Original post

It depends on the offset. Do you know the offset of the wheels you want to buy?

POST 3Original post

Stock for 2002 - 2004 is 18x10 et 65. 18x11 with et 63 should fit. This size is what the 2004 & 05 GT3 uses. You may have to roll your fender lip slightly. I recall some have used even a more aggressive offset. I'm using 18x10.5 with et60 and it fits great. If the 18x11 has an et of 45, forget them for your narrow body. They will stick out.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I'll have to see if the guy gets back to me. I don't plan on rolling my fenders, so I guess 18x11 won't work.

POST 5Original post

It might work - it really depends on the offset. If the wheels are widebody offsets from a turbo or C4S, then it will cause problems. If not, then you might be okay.

POST 6Original post

victor innsbrucks on my 03 narrow body are18x11 with a 55mm offset and they fit perfectly with no fender role, a 295/30/18 tire and the m030 row suspension. the mk1 996 has less room out back do to the way the factory left the fender lip.

POST 7 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

They are listed as '02 rims, so I guess they wont fit my '01. Here is what they look like:

POST 8Original post

ask the seller what are the numbers cast next to the valves... the lower number indicates the wheel width; i.e., 8 or 8.5, 11 or 12 and the larger number indicates the offset; i.e., 45,50,etc.. ... those appear to be Hollow spoke Turbo wheels ( GT Silver in color).

POST 9 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Yeah, they look awesome! Seller is a parts dealer that hasn't replied to my questions yet.

POST 10Original post

They look like hollow spoke turbo wheels. They are most likely widebody offsets, but I'd be interested to hear what the seller says.

POST 12 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Cool info! I'll see what happens. Asking price is $900 with tires!

POST 13Original post

What kind of wheel is this? realy nice and not like "aweryone else" where can I buy them?

POST 14Original post

Quotes source post: 10255766

that's a good price if the wheels aren't damaged and tires are useable ( tread and expiration ). if the seller is near you, see if you can assure the wheels balance out properly. take them to a shop. If they are Turbo offsets, buy em and save em for when you get a WB....j/k

POST 15Original post

Quotes source post: 10255415

You need some Fikse center caps for this set of wheels.

POST 16Original post

They never made the hollow turbo twist wheels pictured above in NB offsets. Most likely the rears are gonna be 45mm offset for Turbo/C4S models. The older turbo twists were made in both hollow and solid and were available for both NB and WB offsets but those are the older turbo twist look and the hollow ones should start with a "993" part number IIRC.

POST 18 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Quotes source post: 10256643

My stock Turbo Twist rims have a 993 part number, but are not hollow.

POST 19Original post

Quotes source post: 10256853

Correct. The older turbo twist style came in both WB and NB as well as solid and hollow spoke. Both WB and NB will have both 996 and 993 part numbers. However, what I was trying to say is the NB older turbo twist hollow rear wheel will most likely only have a 993 designation. Sorry if my previous post seemed unclear.
