Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

1 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Was looking at a 996 they have on the lot and was curious what people's experiences with them were. Thanks.

POST 2Original post

Aka RAC Performance right? If so I haven't purchased from them but they did the IMS/RMS on my car. I got nothing but good feelings from this organization. I spoke with several long term customers there and it's a very reputable place. I've also heard good things from other RL'ers here about them.

POST 3Original post

I would give them a very high recommendation. Class outfit.

POST 4Original post

Absolutely - wouldn't go anywhere else. Call Hans Hoffman for service - he's great. Dealer quality service at a much better price. For sales talk to Jonathan Peck - he's a straight shooter. I'll be there a week from tomorrow for a 997 shifter install in my 996TT and can look at a car for you if you'd like. Todd

POST 5Original post

If your in the Dallas area, you cant go wrong with Hans and his crew. Great guy to talk to about your Porsche. Very honest about the cars and their problems.

POST 6Original post

Excellent, professional, great guys, Hans, Jonathan, the entire organization. I have bought an sold over ten cars through them.

POST 7Original post

I've used their service department several times. Hans is fantastic. Bob was the mechanic that worked on my 993 - he was top notch. When I get my newly purchased 996 home, it's going in for a visit.
