Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Suggestion

It would be hard to diagnose online but I would start checking all your fuses to begin with.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Trying to figure out why my spoiler is not deploying. There is a rocker switch on the cover of the fuse panel that should manually lift it, but that isnt working. Checked all the fuses and they seem to be good. Does anyone have any experience troublshooting this problem or any wiring diagrams for the circuitry? Thanks

POST 2Original post

Based on your fan going on without your engine even getting warm from your other video, I say you have some electrical issues, possibly a short somewhere which could also affect your spoiler circuit. It would be hard to diagnose online but I would start checking all your fuses to begin with. Since this car has been sitting awhile, after checking fuses, look towards the passenger engine compartment side and see if rats have chewed on any of the wiring.

POST 3Original post

just as a note - if you end up needing a new motor and the rails connected to the motor - I think I have one stuffed under a shelf somewhere here - would sell it hella cheap!! hope you find whats wrong

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Not sure, was trying to find wiring diagram for spoiler motor and circuitry, so that I can test

POST 6Original post

The relay for it is under the carpet behing the back seats on that little shelf. That carpet just lifts out. Jumper the relay and see if you can get the wing to lift and retract. If you can. Next find out if the relay is getting power when the switch it hit.... Take it from there
