Has anybody heard of/tried an extra silencer for track days for high flow exhausts? I am thinking of the kind of extra silencer that is used on motorcycles with noisy exhausts. Basically it is a short bent pipe (often with holes in it) that is put in the end of the exhaust and fastened with a screw to make a noisy exhaust temporarily quieter. I think it should work, shouldn't it? It would be nice to have a bit more noise for street use and still be able to attend track days... Robert

I've used the Supertrapp disc system that worked well. Others have also used a turn down exhaust. The turn down exhaust does not have the same control as the Supertrapp on sound let alone performance.

Sounds interesting! How do you attach the supertrapp to the exhaust pipes? Can it be fitted to a normal exhaust pipe without welding/rebuilding? Robert
