Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

15 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

You may have your own compost pile too.

POST 2Original post

Now I am convinced that this will be my next project!

POST 4Original post

wow - winner of the worst looking radiators! its a GOOD thing you are doing this!!! BTW you might want to start watching for a nice cheap set of radiators - yours might have suffered enough neglect to become a problem... I see them sometimes for about $100/ea. Not sure if they sold but there is/was one on ebay just this week.. might take some time to find 2 of them cheap so just start looking and getting ready IMO

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

The jack stands are from http://ezcarlift.com/ I found out about them here on rennlist. We had a group buy going about a year ago. I like them, they are a bit heavy, but if you are strong enough you can hang them on the wall fully assembled and they don't get in the way.

Yeah, and in unscrewing the two radiators on the other side, I sheared off the two bottom screws. It is fun drilling out steel from inside aluminum.

POST 7Original post

I see lower coolant temps in your future....we don't need no stinkin 160 t-stat.!!

POST 10Original post

Just wait until you peel apart the radiator and the AC condenser. There is twice as much stuff wedged between the two radiators.

I know, I did it already on the other side. Cigarette butts. Nobody sees the candy wrapper in the photo?

POST 12Original post

Took my bumper cover off a month ago and I had a lot of stuff trapped in there as well. Good project to do once in a while just to make sure that everything looks good. Also replaced a fender liner and the lower ground effects parts that were a bit brittle or missing altogether.

Ok, as if I didn't have to do that too... WHERE did you get the parts? I like to order online and I can't find a good online catalog.

POST 14Original post

tried getting off the bumper on my C4S last week. saw the video posted here earlier, so decided to have a go at it. For the life of me, I could not get the wheelwell liner to pop from behind the bumper lip (actually tore it a bit) to remove the 2nd screw in the turn indicator. Any good trick in getting this done without damaging the liner?

not really 'cause... I did the same thing.
