Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

25 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

2 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

wow, this car is too fun. I got minimal packing done this weekend. One Thing I found out is the remote key does not work. The light blinks but will not open the doors. I have tried a few things I've read on this board to no avail.

POST 23Original post

is it ecarlink? someone else bought car from them a while ago and had good exp. with them

POST 25Original post

You should have received 2 remote keys. When I got mine, a 2003 cab, last year only one key worked. The PO gave me a new Key head when I bought the car. I had to pay a dealer $125 to program it. You should go back to the seller and negotiate if possible. New key heads cost between $100 and $200+ depending on where you get it. Some dealers will charge the $125 programming charge on top of that and some will discount it or add no programming charge.
