Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

15 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Really? Did porsche actually install these en mass as an option? Did anyone here get an actual phone put in their car? Hard to believe that that was the best solution they could come up with at the turn of the millenium

POST 2Original post

It's funny, nothing would date a car faster than a phone like that. Most non-P car experts think mine is new.

POST 3Original post

Middle East where you will find that Option Common...

POST 4Original post

That is an option in the special edition cars... the one in the pic is the 40th edition. Yeah, its pretty bad!

POST 6Original post

Porsche now fits bluetooth instead and charges 10x the price of a phone

POST 7Original post

Believe it or not, Porsche is STILL putting those things in the 09 models,--and they only work in Europe! Right now I suspect Porsche is running the factory with a bunch of bench warmers. They're making a lot of mistakes on these cars.

POST 8Original post

My handset is equipped with blue tooth and I have a difficult time hearing over the sound of the flat six. Just as well, the engine makes it's own music. I don't think I would ever order a 911 with factory phone/blue tooth.

POST 10Original post

^^^ That would look great with the Savhanna Beige interior.

POST 11Original post

In a honda (so I 've been told) they install 2 tin cans with a wire in the middle.....pull the wire tight and put the tin can to your ear and you can hear what the person is telling you in the other tin can!! Is this true Tim??

OUCH!! No, they stopped using wire in 2005! Now they use string to connect the cans. Terrible reception!

POST 13 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

i wonder if that thing gets you around cell phone bans. "no officer, it's clearly not a cellular phone!...i took it out of my kitchen!"
