Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I installed the spring retaining base on the springs upside down like an idiot, so since I had to take the whole assembly out and flip the ring and re-install it, I thought I might shoot a pic in honor of the stupidness occasion. The good news is that I only screwed up on one side the first install. To re-cap that is an RoW M030 rear spring and bump stops over an X74 rear strut with brand new engine in the background.

POST 2Original post

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I have had it on for about a month and the handling is phenomenal. I was doing a high speed run and hit a dip in a sweeper. The car became very unsettled from the overly soft 25K mile old stock U.S. standard suspension. Hence, I did some research and found a soft point in the standard X74 from Porsche. They use progressive rear springs. So, I used $86 RoW M030 springs with X74 struts with the progressive RoW bump stop. I also added the C4S rear anti sway bar which is hollow and as fat as the GT3 bar without adjust-ability holes. At $700, the rear was up to X74 spec. For another $86 I added front RoW M030 springs initially with the stock struts, but have currently ordered front X74 spec shocks because the rear springs were so well matched to the dampers. I will post pics and impressions when I get it in and everything re-settles.
