Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Typically, these devices are used on motorcycles when the gear ratio has changed, and you need to recalibrate the speedometer.
Leading evidence: 'Use on motorcycles' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, the most frequently mentioned possible cause is 'biggest change i'd like' (1 discussions; 0 report identifying it and 1 suggest it). The most frequently discussed action is 'Adjust when the wing is opened and closed' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

I was thinking that if the controller was near the wing itself, it would be easy to slip one of these in to adjust when the wing is opened and closed.

Probably the biggest change I'd like to make has to do with air spoiler.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hello,
This is just a quick note to say hi
, and hopefully get a question or two answered.
To start off with, I have a 2002 Porsche Carrera 2 with a few modifications in the form of a PSE, and a set of Speed Star Racing GT3 wheels with Michelin Pilot Sports; otherwise it's a stock automobile.
There are only a few modifications I'd like to do since in my opinion, the car is pretty close to perfect in its current form.
After finding this forum a couple of months back, I was interested in the Silver hood emblem, but after thinking about it, the mod only makes sense if I could do all the emblems in and on the car. I'm not sure if this is possible. Can I get a silver airbag emblem? Anyway, I may revisit this mod later.
Probably the biggest change I'd like to make has to do with air spoiler. To be perfectly honest, I don't think the car needs an air spoiler at 78 miles per hour. The Toyota Tercel that passed me today at 100 didn't seem to need one either.
Perhaps here in the audience is someone with an electrical diagram, which might be able to help me. Here's what I'm hoping for: I'd like to know if the wing controller is separate from the engine control unit? If the controller is separate, I can add one of these:

I was thinking that if the controller was near the wing itself, it would be easy to slip one of these in to adjust when the wing is opened and closed. Actually, you could only slide the open/close window forward or backward. If you moved the opening to 110 mph, the wing would close at ~70 mph.
Anyway, it's an idea I have. I'll have to see if I can get a schematic diagram...
Hi to all and I enjoy the banter...
Jeff
Hi and welcome to the forum. **guard your wallet**
As for the silver badge question. Yes you can. I (as have many others) switched to the silver hood crest and the silver crest wheel centers. (Ordered mine from Ralph Boothe) They are stunning! The silver airbag crest can also be had. It came on the MY2000 cars so you need to specify that when ordering that you want the airbag with the silver crest from 2000. The airbags fit all 996 models from 99-04 so don't worry about fitment.
BTW.......this thread will die very quickly if you don't post a pic of your ride soon.
.....welcome to the board!
These come from Boothe Designs. They are billet aluminum and lock from the inside. There are some in my photo gallery. Click on my sig to get there. There's a back view with the locking bolts too.
