Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

9 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I haven't seen everything, but now, because of the internet, I am getting much closer. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...d=246047070590 Titan Exhaust Air Jack Vehicle Lift New TTC-2.0 Titan Exhaust Air Jack is designed to lift a vehicle by its own exhaust gas. Place the flattened air bag beneath the vehicle and connect the hose to the vehicle's exhaust pipe. The exhaust gas inflates the air bag and raises the vehicle. When the vehicle is lifted to the desired height, you can turn off the engine and it will remain inflated for 45 minutes. exhaust jack.jpg

POST 2Original post

that'll make sure you finish jobs on time.....45 minutes or else! I'm on a 3 week long 60K inspection, that thing would have forced me to quicken the pace.

So the pressure of the exhaust, right? Wow, you think there'd be much back-pressure on the valves? LOL

POST 4Original post

AND you can huff it when the tire is changed I tried the reverse of that once, tried to blow up a bus but burned the crap out of my lips

POST 5Original post

Just make sure the windows are up!! No wait....................

POST 6Original post

someone will buy it.... hurt themselves and get rich from the lawsuit. It pays to be stupid sometimes...

POST 7Original post

These have been around for years....since around the Model T I think. They are actually quite effective. I saw one used 20 years ago...picked up a Cadillac in no time.

POST 8Original post

Darn, the fitting is too small for my exhaust. Guess I can't get one now boo hoo.

POST 9Original post

I know several people that use these to lift their heavy/lifted truck out in the woods. Never seen a failure over a 14 year period. I would get one but I don't get around to going out in the Land Cruiser any more, what with a job that is 100% travel. WMiranda 2000 996 Cabrio 1997 E36 M3 Lot's of other stuff
