Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

17 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

1999 C2, 57k miles, 6spd, Artic White, Met-blue interior, standard power seats, sunroof, aluminum trim pkg, Kinesis Supercups, S-03's, GHL exhaust. Very clean... on a scale of 1-10 I would give it a 8 or 8.5

POST 2Original post

I think you are worth about 35-38k....Just sold mine....23k miles 2000 for 44k.

POST 3Original post

I agree with Robert. $35-38K is a good fair price point Chad

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hmm... I could see $37k/$38k for it but thought it would be closer to $40k. I base that on nothing other than the number I had in my head!

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

LOL! A guy just can't ask a question without someone thinking I'm being sneaky?!

POST 7Original post

Don't know what the market is like in Houston, but you could get 35-38 in CA, the further north you go, the further south that figure is. I saw a 99 C2 cab with 61k miles go for $31,100 in MA two weeks ago HTML Code: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=4520668935&category=10156 You need to find the right buyer, that's all.

POST 8Original post

$32k - $35k, you will be competeing with cars with much less mileage.

POST 9Original post

Oh, I'm *sure* you're just asking so you can accurately fill out the "asset" column of your yearly financial report On the other hand, if you're anything like me, you have about 5 theoretical deals running through your head. I'm thinking Land Cruiser, or M5, or S6, or... and another Miata project to replace my 911 at the moment. Babies will do that to you.

POST 10 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

To be honest I'm thinking of a few things but they all stem from making plans to buy a house. Getting rid of the Porsche is possible but right now not a sure thing. If I do end of trying to sell it, I have a handful of cars I am looking at. Another reason for thinking of getting out from under the Porsche is it will be out of warranty in June. My car was a Porsche Certified car and I've had it in 3 times for service and not one time has anything been covered. They were minor repairs but still... a major repair without a warranty is making me think twice about keeping the car.

POST 11Original post

Nick, Where are you going to be looking? Down in my area? Tim

POST 12 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

For right now I'm moving in with my g/f but in the next year or so I will be looking for a house. I like your neighborhood but may end up looking in Friendswood too. At this point it's all up in the air.

POST 13Original post

30-35, alot of similarcars on market with less miles, one owner, etc. Good luck though.

POST 14Original post

Selling wheels separate? might make more Mike

POST 15 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Only if I were to trade it in. I have the stock 17" twists in the garage. Otherwise 2 sets of wheels would go with the car.

POST 16Original post

Without the wheels and exhaust around 31/32, with it 35. My best guess. Good luck.

POST 17Original post

i sold my '00 996 c2 last weekend. no stories, well optioned, high miles--$30k.
