Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I didnt seem to unbolt any thing that would have to do with an alignment... Why do I need one just becasue I changed a rear shock? 99/996 C2

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

because I read it on here at some point

POST 4Original post

I wouldn't think you would need one. You removed some nuts, bolted it back up to where it was. Not sure what the brain trust has to say though......

POST 5Original post

Kyle, The alignment is usually required when guys lower their car with coilovers/springs. If you keep the same shocks you should not have to do an alignment.

POST 6Original post

You can change out rears and adjust heights without need for an alignment. I change springs and ride height at the track often. You'll have more neg camber when lowering, but that doesn't affect the basic alignment. Fronts completely different of course....
