Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

They fixed this an presumably the cover it holds, took it for a test drive and she leaked again.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Was supposed to get car back today. They fixed the apparent oil leak, took it for a test drive, voila oil leaking again!! Tomorrow they will again ask Porsche Middle East for a replacment engine. There is obviously no other solution. Can they refuse? What will they propose, the service manager is on my side, he already took out the gearbox 3 times to try and fix it this time around, and he is as fed up as I am.

POST 2Original post

Rhamy: That really sucks!!!... Is this really a new leak or is it oil from previous leaks working its way down? In any event it is a shame you have to go through this frustation.

POST 3Original post

Can you post a list of the parts that were replaced?

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Don't have it tool pants, all this was done over the phone. All I know is that the leak apparently was coming from the orientation shaft bolt, which is right in the middle of the 3 flange bolts for the IMS. They fixed this an presumably the cover it holds, took it for a test drive and she leaked again. I have already had the 3 flange bolts and the 4 case bolts changed to the new ones as per the TSB. Nothing left to try? I hope they get me a new engine, or take the car back!!!! I am that aggravated.
