Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

If anyone can help with this, I would really appreciate it. So I took the stereo (stock 996 in face CD) out to change some LED's on my climate control. I put it back in the way I thought it was supposed to go but now it only intermitently plays from all speakers. It will for a while, but when I hit a bump, of shift gears, there is a HORRIBLE staticy sound coming from them. Any thoughts on what I missed?

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

any idea which one? Is there a ground wire that maybe I missed? I cannot find any schematicvs or wiring diagrams anywhere for a guid.

POST 4Original post

Do you have the user's manual for the radio? All the Porsche-branded manuals I've seen have the radio pin-outs diagrammed in the back of the book.

POST 5Original post

All they do is slide in to modular pin connectors....sounds like you might have bent one of the pin connectors...check to see if theyr'e all straight. These are just in and out interchangeable units. It's the CDR220 right?
