Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

My C4S delivery is imminent and I'm terribly excited. I'd like to try to organize a meet for people in Maryland and surrounding states. I know some of you are in MD but I'd like to try to get a better idea if people would be interested in a meet. Maybe there are already meets going on and I just haven't heard about them. Anyway, if you are in Maryland and would be interested, or even if you are not in Maryland but are within driving distance, let it be known! Thanks, Ken

POST 3Original post

I'm in Annapolis I just have a piddly BMW but I'd like to come to an event

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi folks, Since the last time I mentioned a Maryland meet, one gentleman in particular wanted to meet up with me to check out my new C4S. We agreed to meet on the 17th in Columbia, MD. I thought I would post here and see if anyone else wants to join us. We are meeting at a parking lot that used to be for Uptons but is now empty since Uptons is closed down. The parking lot is plenty big. There are lots of restaurants in the area as well in case we decide to grab a bite to eat. The address there is 6455 Dobbin Rd. Columbia, MD 21045 so you can put that in mapquest.com and get directions. We plan to meet there at 1pm. Drop me an email or reply here if you plan to come! It'll be great to meet some fellow rennlisters! Jim, hope you can make it. Sorry I didn't respond to your post earlier, I forgot to check back after I posted here. Nick, bring the 5er! See ya there! Cheers, Ken

POST 5Original post

I will try to make it. The wife is working that weekend, so I have to watch my son. If I can, I'll bring him along.

POST 6Original post

Cool. I'll try to make it! Perhaps we should post this on some of the other forums so that we can get some more people to come out?

POST 7 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Nick and Jim, hope to see you there! Nick, if you can, go ahead and post on the DTMPower forum or others if you want. There's plenty of room in the parking lot. Ken

POST 8Original post

You got it, I'll post it in some of the other forums on Rennlist as well

POST 9Original post

You will not be the only Bimmer representative Nick - I am looking forward to seeing some of these beautiful cars, especially the C4S.

POST 10Original post

If it's a nice day I'll grab the 911. She's been a real charmer these days, I drove her about 400 miles last week Apparently the PCA is having an autocross nearby the same day. Maybe we can stop by and watch a little. I think it's at the Dorsey MARC station on Route 100.

POST 11Original post

That would be nice too, the Auto-x. I will be in auto-x on saturday (BMWCCA), will you be there Nick?

POST 12Original post

I am running in the second heat at the BMWCCA AutoX on Saturday. I'll be in my green 528

POST 13Original post

I'm planning to show if the weather holds. Unfortunately, the forecast for Sunday is not great.

POST 14 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Yeah, what if it rains? Should we move the meet to one of the Columbia Mall parking garages? (The Columbia mall is only a couple of miles away from the scheduled meeting place.) The larger garage's top two levels are usually close to empty... we could gather on the second one down to keep out of the rain... or should we cancel entirely if it rains? I personally don't care about the rain but I know some people do only drive on dry days. Ken

POST 15Original post

I only drive the p-car in the dry but if it rains I'll just bring the Bimmer We can meet in the parking lot as schedule and if its raining move somewhere else. Just sit in your car until everyone shows

POST 16Original post

Parking lot is alright with me. Nick - I am in the first heat with a topaz 330Ci, I may still see you there however if I decide to stay a little longer. I'll come say "hi."

POST 17 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

[quote]Originally posted by FlyingToaster: Parking lot is alright with me.

Are you talking about the autocross or the meet on Sunday? Cheers, Ken

POST 18Original post

I think Nick's idea is to meet, introduce one another, spend sometime talking and enjoying the gathering and may be at the same time stop by the auto-x to watch how it is going. That may be suitable or not for others. I am open to any activity as my primary objective is to lust on your C4S I am also open to just sitting down some place after the initial meeting and just talking with enthusiasts and I will go along with what ever others may want to do.

POST 19Original post

weather.com says only a 30% chance of rain for Sunday. If it's not raining that hard, I will be there.

POST 20 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

In case anyone isn't familiar with the area, here is a little diagram showing where the parking lot is in relation to Route 175 and Dobbin Rd. Hope to see you there! Cheers, Ken

POST 21Original post

Sounds good Ken, I am leaving the house in about 45 mins. See you there.

POST 23Original post

I live in Annapolis and have 1 91 964(currently for sale) and a 99C4. All this talk of getting a lot of Porsche's together gets me worried about a peasants revolt. Alan Bernstein

POST 24Original post

Meet picture: Some shots of Ken's C4S I rode with my friend Mike in the black E46 BMW. Hopefully we can do this again when it's dry and get some more people out. I'll bring the 911 next time

POST 25Original post

Nice pics, Nick. Sorry I missed the gathering, but the weather was positively miserable today. Look forward to seeing you guys at the next meeting.

POST 26Original post

I am also bummed that I didn't make it. My son wasn't feeling that great and neither was I, so I decided to skip it. Hopefully I can make the next one, though.
