Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

The car can been seen at their expired ebay auction. It is item number 2484070821.
The car is a speed yellow 2000 C2, they won't budge off of $47,000 (plus extra money for the stereo/dvd stuff if I want it).
The front on the aerokit center and rear pieces look "non" stock to me, is that correct?
How do you guys feel about the price?
Any other opinions about the car are appriciated. I have not yet commited to anything.
Thanks!
Aaron
I traded my 99 C2 with full Aero kit and 25k miles for 40k a few months ago.
Personally it looks good but Yellow will be a hard sell. But tell them to kiss your butt on the extra $$$ for the stereo stuff. They should throw it in. First off, what have they hacked to put it in? Second, what will they hack to "revert to stock". Third, they wouldn't give anything for stereo stuff on a trade in, maybe even knock it down due to my first to points. So paying extra for it is a no win situation.
In my opinion if you pay their price they should throw in the stereo stuff AND ship it to you. If not tell them to sux eggs......no yellow pun intended
There are loads of cars out there. Especially C2's with Aero Kits.
Just my .02
Nice ride...my only question to them (more rhetorical than anything)...they paint the lower lip that attaches to the front aero spoiler (should be black) in front yet they don't paint the bumperettes?
I also agree with the stereo....very minor negotiating point. They should NOT ask for extra since they would NOT give extra on a trade in. I have to agree with Tim on this one (especially the shipping).
This car is well optioned with the 18" wheels, xeonons, 3 spoke wheel, sport seats with painted backs, etc. I would agree with the previous posts that $47K is reasonable with the stereo/dvd/nav included.
One method I have used to determine EXACTLY what the OEM options are on Porsches is to check the factory option code label (located on the underside of the trunk lid... it's a white label approx 4x4"). Then, type the codes into the website attached ->
http://www.kindel.com/Porsche/options.asp
This site is usually about 90% accuarate and isn't an official Porsche tool, but it may answer some questions about PSM, aerokit, etc.
As far as shipping is concerned, it may not be that big of a deal breaker depending on how far you live from the dealer. Perhaps offer $46.5 and pay the shipping yourself.
Good luck, it looks like one sweet ride!!
Thanks for the input guys! I am only 2 hours from the dealer so shipping will not be an issue. I have decided I don't want to pay extra for the stereo stuff, and as was pointed out here, I'm sure things are cut and scratched under the install so I would not want it removed. I'll post back an update after I try again with them.....
