(Did any of us pass at least??) I edited all of the errors in my post so that they could be read correctly without causing anyone an anurism [intensional mispeling far addid affect], and prehaps to elicit a meaningful reply rather than a stern scolding for improper use of the English language.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I'm a newbie to driving a P-car, and was trying to get a feel for hard braking. I was going about 80 and hit the brakes hard. The car didn't just slow down, there was a little "jerkiness" to the slowing which I can only assume is the ABS kicking in. The car didn't pull to either side and stopped pretty quickly - I just thought that it would be a "linear" feel to the deceleration, rather than a little tug here and there.
I was hoping to get some feed back from more experience drivers about what a hard brake should feel like.
Thanks in advance!

today I used my breaks HARD...wasn't paying attention and thought a copcar was waiting for a left turn...my light went red and normally I would have jsut floored it...but seeing the cop I went hard in the breaks...and the jerking movements telling me the ABS worked stopped my P pretty fast....I don't like to break hard....because it means (except on a track of course) you are not paying attention...but I am glad that they work the way they work!!!
Please, guys! Don't break your brakes! If you get hard on the brakes, the ABS will have a rapid rat-a-tat-tat sound/feel. The ABS engaging means one or more wheels is skidding relative to the others. It is an attempt to let that wheel regain traction because sliding friction is less than static friction. I've found I can trust the ABS pretty well, but the linear-ness (?) has more to do with your foot and the pads heating up into and out of operating temperature ranges.

One last point: A Park Ranger is a law enforcement official, who can and will put you in custody for
breaking
traffic laws just as fast as a Sheriff, CHP, or municipal police officer would.
Sorry for the typo, i.e., brake and break. I didn't know that English teachers were grading posts, lol

Despite the
obvious
error, the post was understandable given the context, abeit incorrect in the use of "break" / "brake."
This is for anyone that was ever admonished in a public forum for bad grammar, typos, or just plain laziness:

I am a foreigner....so I have a good excuse!!!....and if you prefer I can write it in 3 other languages....wanne try this???
And a park ranger can kiss my hairy..younowwhat, I will not pull over when he tries to pull me over!!! What's next a parking meter cop pulling me over?? . .but if you are a scardy cat (did I spell this the right way??) you will even pull over for a security guard!!
I guess in SF they pull over for anybody....and explain them to use proper english at the same time!!
Acutally, it's "do you want to try that" and "you know what"
Seriously though, park rangers even have national jurisdiction, not just a town/county/state, so when you think about it they are even higher than cops.
