Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I have the PSE from factory on my 2004 c2, I was wondering why it is loud in first gear and then seems to quiet down at a certain point in second gear?

POST 2Original post

The factory installed PSE has a speed cut out that closes the bypass in a certain speed range (20's to 40's ... or something close to that) to be in conformance with European noise regs. There are many, many threads on the various means to eliminate this cut out, ranging from modifying the PSE relay to simply clipping the appropriate wire. Try a search here and on RennTech.
