Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Had it sitting down in front of the shifter for a while, but had to move it up when I installed heated seats and buttons in the batwing.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Happy holidays and a healthy New Year to all!! Anyone who has completed their install, I would appreciate some pics on your units. Where do you have your antennae mounted (Cab's) ? Thanks Gary 2004 C2 Cab

POST 2Original post

I think the antenna can be mounted in the battery compartment near the firewall. I haven't done it but I think that's where most people put it.

POST 3Original post

I've got the antenna mounted next to the flashing red LED's and the wiring running down behind the dash. Right now, I've got the Starmate Replay unit and have it mounted via velcro against the CD holder. Had it sitting down in front of the shifter for a while, but had to move it up when I installed heated seats and buttons in the batwing. I'll try to take some pics later this week. I'm really happy with thte set-up and reception. However, I'll be changing units in the future to a single DIN dash-mounted unit. I bought the Starmate Replay for its size and portability, but honestly haven't taken it out of the car since I bought it. Plus, the blue backlighting of the unit is driving me mad at night.

POST 4Original post

PM me and I will send you pics of mine. Everything is a compromise with this so seeing different systems should help with your decision.
