Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi guys, I have an 02 911 Carrera 2 with a single din stock stereo. I bought an Alpine W505 and bought the Euro Motorspeed Install kit. The kit did not come with instructions and I'm having a hell of a time trying to get the cage mounted. There doesn't seem to be any mounting points to the car, the unit seems to sit on a metal beam which is provided and lean on the faceplate. Seems way too flimsy. Anyone have any ideas or have used this kit before? Anyone have an DIYs? or pictures of the inside? This is the kit Install Kit

POST 3Original post

I just did this with a Pioneer Avic 700. The Renntech instructions are pretty good, but there are a couple of updates with the new kit. You shouldn't have any trouble figuring out the differences. Post again if you run into trouble.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I have a question, there is a thin metal frame almost the size of the front faceplate. It's hanging around and I have no idea where to use it?

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks for your help guys, with the help of that renntech page, I got everything installed and working...
