Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

8 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

Anyone had any any experience with this one? Seems to be simpler to use than the regular low profile jack and more friendly to the undercarriage of the car. http://www.lastandfinal.com/ProductD...GR-SR&CTitle=&

my 0.02 - its for emergency, not regular maintenance - I would not get under the car and if you are taking longer than the time to change a tire you might wish you had not bought it come on a 996 is a snap to jack up....

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

What I mean is, you still need to put the jack stand on the 4 points that PCNA has recommended. I'm just thinking how easy it would be to raise the car up, put the the stands on the 4 slots and release gently. No hassle or worrying that your regular jack would be too high or that you might damage something under the car. I saw similar applications on you tube and it looked very simple to operate. P.S. I am in no means connected to the seller nor endorse this product. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lOmAe-WKQmo

POST 4Original post

Not no but heck no. Like mentioned for an emergency like off the road in mud or snow to get something under the tires.

POST 8Original post

ARB makes a very similar product for off road applications to get trucks off the ground in soft soil situations.. such as mud or sand... they are designed to operate from an onboard air compressor which most off roaders carry due to the need to deflate tires for better traction and re inflate once back on the road. They are coveted by offroaders... however not designed for maintenance work...it looks like this company took the idea and made it worse..
