short: Does a new engine mean that the brakes were flushed? Longer: my 996 had a new engine installed 6 months and 4k miles ago. the work order shows 1L of brake fluid but says nothing about a flush and fill. does taking an engine out necessitate a brake flush? I have most of the records for the car and the brake fluid seems to have never been flushed... thanks

I just flushed mine, and it took between 1.5 and 2L using a Motive Power bleeder. 500ml or so was for bleeding the clutch alone, using Loren's directions on RennTech. Best to get a little more than you need, or you'll kick yourself when you can't finish.
