Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hi Guys,
Hope someone can direct me to a technical article or such. I turned the car a (2001 996 C2 ) on and put the windows up, then went up to see a 944 cup race up at Tremblant, on the way up I tried lowering the driver side, it went down a fraction then stopped. The passenger side would not go down or work at all as well. So I figured it was a fuse. Checked the fuse on the weekend and the fuse is AOK.
What is strange is that they both will not work at all, you would think fuse, but not the case.
This is not a case of not adjusting to the top of its range they just do not work at all. The car is fine apart from that.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you
Pierre
what an idiot !!
awe, I swear...hey OP... if I come up with an idea, just hit "ignore" right away !
OK... umm idea (or non-idea) #3 :

and all that help I offered up above, well... you can thank me later for that
I have not started drinking - but after this mess I am planning to not let another minute go by WITHOUT drinking!!
Do they do the little moving down when you open the door?
Or don't they move at all?
How about putting the key in the door and holding it to the left will they open then?
Thanks for all the help guys, CCRNA they do not move at all, NADA..NOTHING
I checked a couple of other fuses will check them all tonight.
If you have any more ideas let me know !
Pierre
