Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Suggestion

That isn't a fuse, but I would guess (really guess) its the switch - but from what's above, resetting the relay is simple and free, start there.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

my intermittent wipers stopped working. the regular speed and high speed work, but require manually moving the stalk to get the blades to return to their lowest position. is this just a fuse problem or a relay??

POST 3Original post

Sometimes you can kick the intermittent wiper relay with you foot. The relay is just above the clutch pedal. Reach under there and reseat all of the relays, that should fix your problem.

POST 4Original post

Wipers do not return to the "park" position when cycled off...?? Dry windshield and high "traction" (Bosch Icons) extra long wipers...?? Otherwise the "park" mechanism within the wiper drive assembly.

POST 5Original post

That isn't a fuse, but I would guess (really guess) its the switch - but from what's above, resetting the relay is simple and free, start there. Post results. I am curious. Otherwise the "park" possition of the motor seems as though that would be internal to the actual motor assembly.

POST 6Original post

check the mount of the wiper.... make sure its tight.
