Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

This is one of two sets that I use for the track on my 997.
Leading evidence: 'Use track' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Replace cabs appearance' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

The wheel and tire seem to run together and all I see it a black circle with very little definition.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I am looking for some opinions on rims. This is one of two sets that I use for the track on my 997. I am entertaining the thought of purchasing a set of black rims or same color as car rims.
I really like black rims, photos don't do them justice usually. I like them a little more if they have a contrasting outer edge (chrome, body color, etc)
Maybe that's what's wrong.. I was thinking of the red lines I have seen. those give a bit of contract... but just black, black, black is too much... they disappear
While, black wheels are not my favorite wheels, I really don't like the look of all black wheels. The wheel and tire seem to run together and all I see it a black circle with very little definition. As others have mentioned, the best looking black wheels have a polished or silver painted lip. It gives the wheel and tire combination much better definition.
Russo, I have gotten lots of compliments on the black wheels since I installed them. I love how easy they are to clean. I wasn't 100% sold on them when I bought them and had them powdercoated. I couldn't be happier. I think the black wheels look great on your car. Check out any of the high end car magazines...they seem to be getting more popular.
Nice ride.
As far as the wheels it depends on your taste. Anything else planned to change cabs appearance? Like window tint or swapping out different wheels through out the seasons.
I would like to see what it would look like with very very very light window tint and those same wheels but polished.
Regards,
The all black looks great against the blue IMO. Something about the contrast works better than all black with the silver. A little more Mad Max, and a little less Tokyo Drift.
I suggest a black rim with a body-color matching stripe or a red stripe which ties into the color of the tail lens. I'd also pint the calipers to match the stripe. Could be something like this:
