Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Movie came out in 05, so I assume the car was probably a few years older than that.
Leading evidence: 'few years older than' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, the most frequently mentioned possible cause is 'few years older than' (1 discussions; 0 report identifying it and 1 suggest it). No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

What color is this:
I think it's a GT3. It's from the movie Just Friends. I love the color, but I don't think I've ever seen another one this exact color. Was it available on all models (not just gt3?)
Not that it is more common but rather confined to specific years.
Nope
Actually you can't order in any color. PAG/PCNA have the right to refuse a request and has been done many times.
Okay I always just assumed it was a C2, but when I looked online I saw GT3 listed twice. Might have just been incorrect IDing. Movie came out in 05, so I assume the car was probably a few years older than that.
I thought it was pretty good. Funny movie overall
Where did you find it listed online? Maybe it was a borrowed car for the movie that they called a "GT3" unknowing that maybe the owner of the car had fake badged the car.
It was in the upper 40s here on sunday and I was in a tshirt and flip flops enjoying the warm weather
Honestly I just searched around trying to find a picture of the car to use as reference. There were 2 comments with the pic stating it was a GT3 (by random posters). I didn't think it was, or maybe it was supposed to be in the movie but isnt a real one, but honestly wasnt sure so I assumed they were correct and I was wrong.
I saw the movie a while back, and it is so hard to tell exactly the color because of the overcast winter backdrop. It is probably Arena Red, but it looked just slightly "duller and darker" to me from what I remember, so I wouldn't be surprised if it was a custom color either.
Not always accurate, but an interesting site...

I don't believe it is an actual GT3. We were not that lucky in the US in the earliest years of the 996. and this one is a 99-01 judging from the shape of the headlights, and the Aero One rear spoiler (folded taco design). By the time GT3's were US legal, the rear spoiler was the blade design.
I DO belive that if the lighting and contrast and all that stuff is absolutely perfect and that we are seeing the actual true color of this car, that it is a Paint-to-Sample in Peru Red which is a Porsche 911 color from the mid-1970's. It is non-metalliic. I have seen many newer cars with this choice, specifically a one-off 1993 RS America* ordered in this color as a PTS, and a 996 Turbo coupe PTS this color.
But since there is snow on the ground, and this is a computer transfer, we cannot rely entirely by what our eyes tell us.
*The RS America in question was delivered to a very well know PCA autocrosser and SCCA National Champion Autocrosser. He took FTD at the PCA Parade in Cincinnati in his RS America. Quite an achievement considering the cars that enter that event. I was there. He worked for a Pennsylvania Porsche dealership and actually created many interesting aftermarket parts specifically for RS Americas. I took Second in Class that year (behind him) because I had put many of his parts on my '93 RS America.
Gulf Blue for one. Many light non-metallic colors have been rejected. They get rejected primarily because the color on the poly bumper covers will not match the color on the body panels.
