Does anyone know how to disable the daytime running lights AND keep the rear license plate lights working.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I have asked before, searched alot and will ask again. Does anyone know how to disable the daytime running lights AND keep the rear license plate lights working. There must be some way with a combination of fuses/easy rewire.......
Please help.
RVP
Yes, As i said befor you remove the relay , i know you have done this because your rear plate lights are not working. The dealer if it is a good one will do a jumper in that relay socket to get your rear plate lights to work.I pulled my relay and didnt bother with my lights because to be honest its a Porsche and its in Canada, I mostly get pulled over so they can check out the car, not the lights. Let me know where your at maybe i can help you a little more...Good Luck
thats the type of answer I was hoping for, that I could "jump" from the relay to some other fuse in the fuse box. Any clue which "sockets" or prongs need to be jumped, and to where?????
Thanks alot.....

Ok I am on the hunt for you, ill find out which pins you need to jump. I took mine out because i dont like them, I cant even park with the car on with out blinding everyone that pulls in to the parking lot.....Against the law, come on and i guess you only drive 100 k on the 401 please...
i was assuming that Murderland was a reference to a US location. I know they are not required down there but i was just wondering if they were actually outlawed.
401 - 90 km/hr tops- Gotta max out the gas conservation!
Anway, if DRL's are going to save even 1 fender bender, worth it in my books.
DRL are good in bad weather,in the city with good weather they just burn your battery and alternator faster,so turn your drl off and turn on your lights yourself in bad wheather.
