Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Leading evidence: 'Clean radiators' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Check /' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

my bets on a new water pump and thermostat while you're there and check/replace belt

Probably next thing to do is change all 3 radiators and some hoses around them.

That hose is expensive, they no longer sell the old hose and as a result, depending on the year of your car you have to also replace the metal tube that connects to it, which is also expensive.

I went to the workshop today to get my aircon flushed out and re-gased thinking that it maybe the condensers that are running my temp high but unfortunately ...
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Sadly no change in temp, so i decided to change the water pump, low temp thermostat and a new expansion tank to go with.
Looks like it's looking from the water pump pulley..i can see coolant on that top left bolt...
my bets on a new water pump and thermostat while you're there and check/replace belt
Certainly looks water pumpish to me. Can you find any coolant above that point? If not, then certainly pump. If YES, then ...
You should check to see where the expansion tank overflow tube is routed. While not normal, if it gets "pointed" in that direction coolant overfill or overflow can leak down onto that area as well (and possibly residual from a leaking tank, albeit you would probably see coolant in other places as well if it was a leaking tank).
More unlikely possibilities include a leaking AOS hose near the oil fill tube, or a leaking large or small coolant hose on the left hand side, dripping down to that area, but from the picture I can't see any coolant on the pump hose.
That hose is expensive, they no longer sell the old hose and as a result, depending on the year of your car you have to also replace the metal tube that connects to it, which is also expensive.
In addition I hope you've read up on the proper procedure to drain prior to work and then refill the coolant in your car when you are done with the repairs.
If you don't do it the right way (strongly recommend using vacuum system) you are risking air pockets which could lead to a cracked engine. On this car it is especially important to follow procedure considering the multitude of hoses, curves, and places where air can hide.
Search "bleeder valve" or "uview".
Ok, so i replaced my water pump, thermostat, some hoses and got myself a new coolant tank but the thing is .... The temperature hasnt changed ... Any ideas anyone ....
My car runs at about 85 Degrees C (Coolant Temp) and climbs all the way to 102- 105 Degrees C. My radiators were cleaned out last week. Funny thing is, my fans only come on when my coolant temperature is about 100 degrees C, thats according to my climate control diagnostics mode.
The temp still goes high even with the AC on. Damn man ... Any Ideas?
On the side note, whats the operating temp of oil for our cars?
My car operates the same way.
The low temp fans come on at 100C (this is the Durametric reading - which is actually 103 on the climate control) and the high temp at 105C. However, when the high speed fans come on the temperature will come down.
I have done the fan hack and can tell you that this works to bring temperatures down while in city traffic.
I am not sure there is a temperature sensor for the oil temp.
What specifically are you fed up about? Take a look at this thread. Your car appears to be operating normally unless the temperature just keeps climbing and never stabilizes.

Under the climate control mode, 1C is supposed to be the Oil Temp.
Heres the link to the oil temp sensor,

What i am fed up about is that my car used to run at about 85C max.
Here is the story, When i first got my car, i noticed that coolant temp stayed at about 85C max on the gauge until recently it moved up to about 93C-95C on the gauge. I decided to clean out the radiators. Sadly no change in temp, so i decided to change the water pump, low temp thermostat and a new expansion tank to go with. In hope that all this changes would solve this "problem".
In the beginning after receiving my car back from the workshop, all seemed promising with the car mantaining 82C, until the next day when it went back to 92C-95C.
Most importantly, is this normal and healthy for the engine? If it is, i would care anymore.
Cheers
Under what conditions are the above noted - driving conditions, ambient temperatures etc. My car takes a while to get to 82 to 85C - maybe 5 mins in city traffic. It will work its way up to 90C+ within 10 to 15 mins. the temperatures that you are seeing are normal for 3.4L engines with respect to what I have read here and in other places.
Here in singapore temperatures range from 24C in the night to a maximum of 33C in the day.
My coolant temp goes up to 100C only after about 25mins. If it's normal then I am a happy man.
Cheers
In the city but when i get onto the motorway, the temp does not drop as much as i hope it would.
I went to the workshop today to get my aircon flushed out and re-gased thinking that it maybe the condensers that are running my temp high but unfortunately ... the temp is the same. 90C-105C.
Probably next thing to do is change all 3 radiators and some hoses around them. HAHA but of course ... if there is something else i could with the system to bring the temp down, i would not mind trying it out.
Cheers
