Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

One hint on removing the plugs, make sure to either use a socket with a lock on it (to lock to the extension) or some duct tape to keep the socket connected.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

1 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

I used that socket + wobble extension combo and it worked extremely well.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

hi everyone, has anyone use these specific tools for their spark plug replacement? i dont have a part number for the ratchet - any ideas? comments requested!

POST 3Original post

I used that socket + wobble extension combo and it worked extremely well. The ratchet you can use any 3/8" one. However, for the hex bolts on the coil, I recommend you use a 6mm hex bit (or whatever size the hex bolts are. Don't quite remember) on this low profile set http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_00947477000P Works very well on the hard to reach ones.

POST 4Original post

Guess I'm lucky to have a couple of the Snap-On wrenches and extensions already in my tool box. I don't think my socket was Snap-On though, still worked fine. Because it was not tested nor approved doesn't really mean much to those in the trade.

POST 5Original post

One hint on removing the plugs, make sure to either use a socket with a lock on it (to lock to the extension) or some duct tape to keep the socket connected. If you don't the vacuum in the engine will keep the socket on the plug and make it a hassle for you to remove once in the tube.
