Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

52 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 12 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks all of you i've painted the wheels is the same color of the car. I would like to add side skirt cause it's a litle bit to high and it's difficult to down a targa as we cannot make it more strong to not dammaged the glass roof, but side skirt is very expensive

POST 13Original post

Beinvenue! C'est une belle voiture! J'aime beaucoup le "seal grey"

I wonder if the first picture is enough to pass the Tim's qualification newbie post pictures welcome message. welcome TT150. Your English is parfait. John

POST 23Original post

Bonjour, accueillir au meilleur site web de Porsche

POST 24Original post

Quotes source post: 5020741

John, Yeah, it just barely passes. Since he is from "out of state" I'll give him the benefit of the doubt. Welcome to Rennlist and COngrats on getting a nice looking Targa. Side skirts would look great on your car.

POST 25 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks again ! What is the Tim's qualification?

POST 26Original post

Good question, I have no idea. Best thing to do is post lots of pictures!!. From the backside, front side, underneath, sideways, and on top to start. You can post some of your 996 as well, I mean all from your 996 of course. Sorry I was thinking of a French girl for a second...bonus points potential though? Then you cross your fingers and hope like hell you have done enough to please Tim.

POST 27Original post

Welcome to the best Porsche forum board on the planet! Happy Motoring!

POST 28Original post

Quotes source post: 5021101

Tim wears many hats. Mainly, he is our ambassador of goodwill and modification inspector.

POST 29Original post

TT150, One of "The Tim's" qualifications is that he has 8245 posts on this board. Consider him to be a rich relative who has been around awhile. Bonjour et Bienvenue ! APTerr

POST 30Original post

Quotes source posts: 5021169, 5021365, 5021440

Awe, you guys are embarrasing me! Larry, I like your idea about including a French girl in the pics. THAT would be awesome! Since I am older than dirt, yes, I have been around a while. However, since you added the "rich" part, I think you may have me confused with someone else.

POST 31Original post

I was looking forward to some sort of Powerpoint slide show.

POST 32Original post

Quotes source post: 5021762

I hope its going to be the French girls. maybe a few slides of the car thrown in.

POST 33Original post

Welcome! I always wanted to know, do the French really hate us?

POST 34Original post

Quotes source post: 5019617

Je l'aime...il fait un sound plus aggressive, et on puet le nettoyer. Aussi, il y a plus de "airflow" avec le K&N, et ca fait le moteur un pue plus puissant. (sorry for my horrendous french...its been a few years!)

POST 35Original post

Quotes source post: 5022363

Does this mean +1 on the French girl pics

POST 36Original post

Quotes source post: 5022422

a french girl in a croissant outfit that is good enough to eat?

POST 37 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks all of you Scott, merci pour ta prcision je vais en acheter un ! Tippy, that's tru as US hate French :-) :-) so in fact it's like everywhere, someone yes, someone no. (I'm working for an US company...) I don't understand very well for Tim, it is a guy from the forum or the fact to post lot of pics, don't know but this forum sounds great and friendly ! I've looked at CGT forum, incredible for some car collection, I love it !

POST 39Original post

Quotes source post: 5022422

that's hilarious...no unfortunately, the "plus puissant" comment refers to the fact that the K&N filter he asked me about possibly make the motor a bit "more powerful."

POST 40 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Quotes source post: 5023660

But I don't think it is teh case, isn't it?

POST 41Original post

Disregard all these fools who i happen to love in that computer way.... but could you please post more pics of your hometown? i love seeing pics from people in europe/asia/africa whatever. if u want to keep it relevant just post pics with 911 next to champs or something. been about 6 years since i've been there last. and i remember seeing two of the finest model chicks on top of Champs Elyses

POST 42Original post

Quotes source post: 5022567

If you think this forum is friendly, wait until you ask what kind of oil you should use in your Porsche!

POST 43Original post

Welcome from across the pond! We could use some good ambassadors for the US these days- which US company do you work for? (I happen to work for a German company- go figure)

POST 44Original post

TT150, I have a U.S. twin to your car, an '02 Targa in seal grey. I have the side skirts, and think they add a lot to the look of the car!

POST 45Original post

Quotes source post: 5024449

Uhmmm, how about some pics!!! Of course that request is only so TT150 can see what his car would look like with the side skirts.

POST 46Original post

I thought it was still against the law to own a German car in France

POST 47Original post

Quotes source post: 5022567

OK, here is the story behind Tim... oh, wait.... that's me! Most "newbies" (new guys) to Rennlist come in and just ask some questions and don't bother to introduce themselves or tell us a little about their car and they ususally don't post pics of the car. So I have taken it upon myself to inform the "nerwbies" that they should introduce themselves and post pics of the car. I try to do this in a "very friendly" way, which usually goes something like this: Hey Newbie, where do you think you are.... on a Bimmer board? Come on, post the !@#$%^&* PICS!!! That is what I call the "Newbie Initiation." It is meant to be good fun. It is our (my) way of saying Welcome to the new guys.

POST 48 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Ok gota, I realize after that is was you. I understand your point of view, we've got the same issue in our french Forum Thanks to ask pics about the US twin of my car :-) If I found some good pics of paris then I would post them I work for a us company brand of LCD monitors, projectors, Digital photo frame, bird, bird, bird :-)

POST 49 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Here some pics: Group of targa at the castle of Vincennes, we used to have a porsche meeting with our club every 2nd sunday morning of each month A pics of the Trocadero just in front the effeil tower during an event called "across Paris with old cars" And my old 993 C2 '96 Enjoy

POST 50Original post

Very nice pictures TT. I looked hard but could not see any TT. Ok, ok.....cars looked great. Viva France

POST 51 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Your right, there's no TT :-) I've had a Audi TT in the past ;-)
