I am planning the electronics on my tip to manual conversion and haven't been able to find a set of diagrams for my 2001. The first thread on the tip to manual has 2004 C4 diagrams. Mitchell1 and AllData have wiring diagrams, but I have to put dollars in and pull the handle to see what I'm buying. Is there a site that has a deal with Porsche to sell OEM diagrams or is trustworthy? After looking at the details about using a 1999 instrument cluster in a 2001, my conclusion is that the 2001's DME change makes the 1999 cluster incompatible. After further investigation, the cluster will be going to Palo Alto for mileage/hours sync along with refurbishing the LCD displays I bought from Germany. I cannot wait to feel the shift.

Thank you for this. Who knew there were 911 manuals on an Audi site? This is for a 1999, which I also need, but I need a set of 2001 somewhere else on this site? In looking around I found the Bentley manuals for sale ($219). The All Data site sells diagrams but the 2001 set includes the 5.2 DME and 7.2 DME diagrams which would be incorrect. My car was one of the first builds in 2001 and it has the 7.2 DME/electronic throttle system. Their diagrams are a mix of not OEM and OEM, with OEM's spanning multiple pages because they hacked the original image,

I believe the 2001 is covered in the manual, but I'm not sure. Audipages is my old website and I just use it to host things. Not many people looking to repair D2 A8's any longer.
